The Closed Feedwater Heater Suite - Specifications, Tube Plugging, Autopsies

MGT Inc. announced the availability of the current edition of The Closed Feedwater Heater Suite CD. The copyrighted Closed Feedwater Heater Suite consists of Procurement Specifications for New and Replacement Heaters, a generic fill-in-the blanks specification, complete with fill-in data sheets for 6 different operating conditions, Guide to Tube Plugging, an illustrated guide to plugging tubes in closed feedwater heaters, steam surface condensers and auxiliary shell-and-tube heat exchangers, and Specification for Performing Autopsies, including required equipment and step-by-step procedures.
Each CD has The Closed Feedwater Heater Suite in both MSWord v7.0 and WordPerfect v8.0. The Closed Feedwater Heater Suite has been prepared by Carl F. Andreone, P.E., Fellow of the ASME and Stanley Yokell, P.E., Fellow of the ASME, widely known consultants to the power generating industry and for their presentations of short intensive courses on closed feedwater heaters, shell-and-tube heat exchangers and heat exchanger inspection, maintenance and repair.
Mr. Yokell is the author of "A Working Guide to Shell-and-Tube Heat Exchangers", McGraw-Hill, 1990 (out-of-print but 2nd edition soon to be available on CD). Messrs. Andreone and Yokell are the authors of "Tubular Heat Exchanger Inspection, Maintenance and Repair", McGraw-Hill, 1997.
